DIRECTIONS TO NOTTINGHAM UNIVERSITY HIGHFIELD SPORTS GROUND

University Boulevard Nottingham NG7 2PS

FROM M1 SOUTH (Junction 25)

Leave the M1 at Junction 25 and follow the signs A52 to Nottingham. Continue along the A52 through 2 sets of roundabouts. At the 3rd roundabout (with the Toby Priory restaurant on your left) continue straight on the A52 to Nottingham.

With the University on your right hand side continue for ¾ mile until you reach the Nottingham Ring Road at a large island. Take the 3rd exit (turn right) and shortly after dropping down on to the Ring Road you will see the Queens Medical Centre on your left

Leave the dual carriageway on the slip road to your left marked with a small yellow sign for the NIC and the Trent FM Arena. Proceed down the slip road to the roundabout under the Dunkirk flyover. Take the 3rd exit at the roundabout onto the A6005 for Long Eaton following the brown signs to the ‘Tennis Centre’.

Continue through a set of pedestrian lights and one set of traffic lights onto a dual carriageway with the Tennis Centre on your left and the University on the right. Continue for ½ mile along the dual carriageway and just before the end at a roundabout and immediately before a set of pedestrian lights turn left into Highfields Sports Ground.

FROM M1 SOUTH (Junction 24)

Leave the M1 at Junction 24 and take the 4th exit on to the A453 to ‘Nottingham South. Passing the large power station to your left continue towards Nottingham for two to three miles until you reach the first roundabout. Take the second exit, staying on the A453 signposted ‘Nottingham / West Bridgford / Ring Road / Clifton’. Go through a set of pedestrian lights and straight on through a set of main lights and up onto a flyover. The road bends round to the left and onto the bridge over the River Trent.

­­After the exit left for the A453 to Birmingham take the middle or outside lane signposted ‘The North M1 / Derby A52 / Mansfield A60’ Once you have crossed the River Trent move into the left hand lane signed ‘Industrial Estate / City Centre / Long Eaton A 6005’. Go past the Industrial Estate slip road and the Showcase Cinema on the left and take the next exit ‘A6005 Long Eaton’. Go down to the roundabout and take the 1st exit to Long Eaton and follow instructions from ‘­­’ above.

FROM M1 NORTH (Junction 26)

Leave the M1 at Junction 26 and follow the signs A610 to Nottingham. Once reaching the Nottingham Ring Road (large double set of lights), turn right on to the Ring Road (signposted A52 to Grantham). Continue along the Nottingham Ring Road until having travelled through an under pass you see the large Queens Medical Centre on your left hand side – then follow instructions from ‘­’ above.

FROM THE EAST (A1/A52)

Leaving the A1 at Grantham, follow the signs A52 to Nottingham. After 20 miles you will reach the outskirts of Nottingham, having passed Bingham and Radcliffe on Trent, take the first exit at the roundabout marked A52 to Derby. Continue along this road which is the Nottingham Ring Road. Continue to follow the signs for The North M1 / Derby A52 / Mansfield A60 through several roundabouts and then follow instructions from ‘­­­’ above.
