The nomination process is now open for The FA Community Awards 2012, presented by McDonalds, to recognise and reward the unsung heroes of grassroots football across the country.
If you know of an individual, a club, or even a league, that deserves special recognition then please take a moment to fill in the nomination form, it couldn't be easier.

Forest Kids for a Quid Offer
Nottingham Forest is offering your club/team the opportunity to visit The City Ground on 14 April 2012 for Forests npower Championship fixture against Blackpool.
This fixture is a 'Kids for a Quid' promotion and therefore all children under the age of 16 are eligible for £1 tickets.
Three points for The Reds would all but secure survival to the Championship next season, please offer your support, and become the twelth player!

Funding for Clubs
Nottinghamshire County Council have released details of their Community Sports Fund that football clubs can apply for to encourage additional people to get involved in sport, or retain those who would otherwise cease to be involved.
Nottinghamshire clubs can apply for up to £1000 or £1500 if the club is FA Charter Standard.
The application process is open until 31st May 2012 for projects starting between Sept 2012 and March 2013.

'How Young Palyers Learn' Workshop
South Nottingham College are delivering a workshop on 'How Young Players Learn'.
This workshop will look at the changing young footballer and the noticeable change in the behaviour and motivations of young players in the last decade or so.
The workshop will give guidance on how to structure sessions that fully engage players, and help to teach them the game.
