The Nottinghamshire Minute Maid Cup girls’ winners travelled to take on St. George’s College of Technology (Sleaford) in the 2nd Midlands Round and they made easier progress to the semi-final with a 5-1 win. Grace Abbott netted a hat-trick, her second in successive rounds before coming off injured. Hannah McLennaghan scored the other two goals while Katie Howie starred in defence and Fiona Worts in an unaccustomed midfield role. |
